Sample work

The best way to judge research is to read it.

Our samples are illustrative research on public patents, prepared to show how we scope a question, document sources and map technical evidence. They are open to read, with no email required.

Published samples

Our first full sample report is in preparation and will be published here once every citation in it has been checked against its source. We would rather publish nothing than publish research we can’t stand behind.

In the meantime, we are happy to talk through report structure, or prepare a short scoped excerpt on a public patent of your choice as part of a quotation.

What to look for

How to read an Anteclaim report.

Scope comes first

The research question, claims in scope and relevant date are stated on the first pages, so you know exactly what the report does and doesn’t cover.

Pinpoint citations

Each mapped element cites a specific paragraph, column, figure or section, with a link to the source document.

Graded observations

We distinguish explicit disclosure from passages that require interpretation, and say which is which.

Stated limitations

Sources not searched, elements not located and open questions are listed rather than glossed over.

Tell us what you’re investigating.

Describe your research objective and we’ll come back with a proposed scope, deliverables and a fixed-fee quotation.
